Understanding Account Limits
Spanr imposes a few simple limits in its free plan to ensure that every user experiences consistent performance. These limits are not meant to restrict typical home use; instead they help Spanr allocate resources fairly while the platform grows and new plans are being developed. Limits apply only to properties you own—shared homes do not count toward these numbers.
Current Free Plan Limits
- Properties: You can own one property on your account. Join as many shared homes as you need without affecting this count.
- Inventory Items per Property: Each property can have up to 20 items across appliances, fixtures, and systems. This includes everything you add to your home inventory.
- AI Operations per Day: Spanr includes up to 50 AI operations per day. Operations include running a Dr. Spanr diagnostic conversation, generating care steps, scanning and interpreting appliance labels, or any other action that sends data to Spanr’s AI services. The counter resets every 24 hours.
These limits keep Spanr responsive while allowing most families to manage a full set of household equipment. If you manage multiple properties, need to track more than 20 items per home, or use Dr. Spanr heavily, Spanr will offer expanded plans in the future. In the meantime, contacting support can help you find tailored solutions.
Understanding these limits helps you plan your usage. When you reach the daily AI operations cap, Spanr simply pauses further AI tasks until the next day. When you fill your inventory limit, you can delete old items or wait for additional capacity in future releases.
