What Counts as an AI Operation?
Category: account-limits
Spanr uses AI in several parts of the experience, including guidance, care planning, analysis, and troubleshooting. AI operations help personalize your results based on your home, your appliances, and your fixture data.
What Qualifies as an AI Operation
An AI operation occurs when Spanr performs a task that requires reasoning or interpretation, such as:
- Answering a home-care question in the Query Hub
- Interpreting photos you upload for an appliance or issue
- Suggesting care activities based on your inventory
- Analyzing symptoms you describe
- Providing model-specific advice
- Interpreting your space or item data to personalize responses
Each of these counts as one operation, regardless of the length of the response.
Daily AI Operation Limits (Free Plan)
The Spanr Free Plan includes:
- Up to 50 AI operations per day
Regular app actions — adding items, uploading photos, organizing spaces — never count toward the AI limit.
How to Make the Most of Your Daily Limit
For best results:
- Include photos when reporting issues
- Add accurate model numbers when possible
- Keep your inventory organized
- Use the dashboard for quick answers that don’t require AI
Most homeowners rarely reach the daily limit, but Spanr will notify you when you’re close.
