Your home inventory is the foundation of the Spanr experience. It captures everything you own — from appliances to electronics — and stores the documentation you need for troubleshooting, care, and long-term home management.
Adding Items to Your Inventory
You can add inventory items one at a time or in bulk. When you scan a product label, Spanr identifies the model automatically and enriches the record with detailed product information.
Spanr attaches:
- User manuals
- Warranty details
- Technical specifications
- Energy usage data (when available)
These details allow Dr. Spanr to give you model-specific support.
Organizing Your Inventory
Each item can be organized into spaces such as:
- Kitchen
- Laundry & Utility
- Garage
- Living spaces
- Bedrooms
You can rename spaces anytime to match your home.
Keeping Records Updated
You can update any item to reflect changes, including:
- New photos or documentation
- Notes from inspections or service visits
- Moving an item to a different space
- Updating labels or purchase details
Photos you upload — such as installation areas, receipts, or serial labels — stay attached to the item for future reference.
Viewing Appliances and Fixtures Together
Your inventory screen lets you view:
- Only appliances
- Only fixtures
- Both combined by space
This helps you understand what is installed or stored in each area of your property.
Free Plan Item Limits
Spanr Free supports:
- 1 property
- Up to 20 total items in your inventory (appliances + fixtures)
Removing items you no longer own will open up slots for new ones.
