Adding Fixtures to Your Property

Adding fixtures ensures your home’s core systems are documented and ready for personalized care guidance. Spanr provides a guided experience tailored to the type of fixture or system you are adding.

Starting the Add Flow

From your property, select Add Item and choose a fixture category. Spanr displays a form designed for the system you’re documenting, capturing all relevant details for future care tasks.

Completing Fixture Details

Each fixture includes several fields that help Spanr understand the system. You may record the label, space, installer details, model or serial information, system capacity, fuel type, filter size, water volume, and installation dates.

The form adapts based on fixture type. HVAC units, water heaters, softeners, filtration systems, sump pumps, and air-handling equipment each present the fields necessary for accurate long-term maintenance tracking.

Adding Photos

Photos enhance the usefulness of your records. You can upload images of installation areas, control panels, shut-off valves, breaker positions, serial labels, or service tags. These details help with future inspections and repairs.

Saving the Fixture

Once saved, the fixture appears in the assigned space. Spanr uses the details you provided to set up care activities and reminders that match the fixture’s characteristics and maintenance requirements.
