- Remove the water tank from the steamer base
- Rotate the tank cap counterclockwise and remove it
- Empty the remaining water from the tank
- Fill the tank with clean water
- Swirl the water inside the tank
- Pour the rinse water out of the tank
- Wipe the inside and outside surfaces with a soft cloth
